Food inspector's work and duties will be as follows:-
(a) If it is suspected that food items have been produced or stored or sold and distributed in violation of the Act or these regulations, or if any such act is suspected, a sample of such food item shall be taken and the notice as per Schedule-2 shall be given to the owner of the food item and immediately submitted to the public analyst for analysis and testing. Sending,
(b) If a complaint or information is received that any person or organization or firm has taken any action contrary to the Act or this regulation, to investigate it, but no one shall give false complaint or information,
(c) To keep a record of the food items that have been taken or confiscated in accordance with the Act or these regulations that they have inspected,
(d) Under the general control of the local district officer, perform duties assigned to him and according to this regulation and prevailing laws.
